Chris co-founded Makor Capital LLC in April 2022. He has overall responsibility for Makor’s investment and operating platforms, including investment strategy, property operations, asset management and acquisitions / dispositions. Chris has more than 22 years of experience acquiring and operating multifamily rental communities across numerous asset classes, including acquisition & rehabilitation of affordable housing projects, condominium conversion and land entitlement. Prior to founding Makor, Chris continuously served as co-CEO of Chartwell Holdings LLC, a company he co-founded in 2001, during which time the company acquired and operated more than 8,000 units across apartment communities located throughout the northeast and southeast United States. Chris is also concurrently an advisor to the Board of Directors of Churchill Forge Properties, a family-held real estate investment and management firm that owns and operates more than 11,000 units in 45 apartment communities in TX, SC, FL, MA and NH. Previously, Chris practiced real estate and corporate law at the New York law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, from October 1994 to June 1998 and at the Boston law firm of Goulston & Storrs, from August 1998 to October 1999. Chris is currently the Board Chair of the Jewish Arts Collaborative (JArts) and is a member of the New England chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Chris was previously a long-time trustee and officer of Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston; Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the PJ Library of Boston; and founding Board member of the Combined Jewish Philanthropy Real Estate Next Generation Group. Chris graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. degree in economics from Harvard College in 1989 and magna cum laude with a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1994.

Jason co-founded Makor Capital LLC in April 2022. His responsibilities include Makor’s investment and operating platforms, including financial operations, asset management, acquisitions / dispositions, and efficient tax planning / structuring. Jason has more than 10 years of experience acquiring, operating, and disposing multifamily rental communities across numerous asset classes, including acquisition & rehabilitation of affordable housing projects, condominium conversion and student housing.

Prior to founding Makor, Jason managed northeast acquisitions for Chartwell Holdings, LLC. While at Chartwell, the northeast unit count grew from 139 to 2,344. Jason helped build out Chartwell’s northeast operations group, the core of whom make up the Makor’s management team today. Before Chartwell, Jason was with Gross + Cohen LTD, a real estate sponsor focusing primarily on value-added student housing, with a portfolio located along the east coast and throughout the Midwest. Jason began his career as an accountant in the real estate tax and audit practices at KPMG.

Jason was formerly a Trustee and Treasurer of Kehillah Schechter Academy (previously known as South Area Solomon Schechter Day School). Jason graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A in Accounting from the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2009 and an MBA from Boston College in 2014.

Shane Kelly serves as Makor’s Director of Multifamily Operations, bringing over 14 years of experience in the multifamily industry. He has a proven track record of leadership across a diverse range of market-rate, affordable, and value-add portfolios in the East Coast market. In addition to his extensive operational experience, Shane also offers significant expertise in construction management, further enhancing his ability to drive successful outcomes in multifamily property management and development.

Previously, Shane held a senior leadership position at Bridge Property Management, where he played a key role in managing over 1,700 units acquired through the company’s Workforce and Affordable Housing fund. Under his leadership, the portfolio underwent more than $20 million in exterior capital renovations, in addition to the execution of a comprehensive interior renovation program across all properties. Prior to joining Bridge, Shane served as a Regional Property Manager at Makor, overseeing the company’s portfolio in Massachusetts.

Shane holds notable industry accreditations including Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM). He has also served on the Massachusetts Apartment Association Education Committee, further underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field.

Mike Ryan serves as our Director of Asset Management, where he focuses on evaluating and executing new investment opportunities and enhancing portfolio performance across our assets. He leads underwriting efforts and partners with Operations to analyze financial performance, optimize revenue and expenses, and guide capital investment strategies.  Mike brings over 9 years of experience in real estate investment and financial analysis. Prior to joining Makor, he held roles with Forest Properties Management and Brown Brothers Harriman. His experience spans both institutional investment operations and hands-on real estate underwriting.  Mike holds an MBA from Boston College with a concentration in Corporate Finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing. 

Bringing more than two decades of property management experience, Kelly Dill, CAM, is a distinguished Property Management Leader. Currently serving as Senior Regional Manager at Makor Management, Kelly has consistently delivered outstanding results. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles as a Regional Director at Woodward Management Partners for almost 2 years and at Chartwell Management for nearly 9 years. With a keen focus on driving growth and efficiency, she spearheaded transformative efforts across Makor's Southeast portfolio, successfully optimizing occupancy rates, boosting NOI, reducing expenses, executing property rehab initiatives, formulating meticulous budgets, conducting financial analysis, and leading strategic staffing initiatives. Kelly's unwavering commitment to excellence and her expertise in property management make her a trusted and influential figure in the property management landscape.

Meaghan Mannion serves us as our Regional Property Manager who oversees the southern NH region.
Meaghan brings over a decade of experience in multifamily property management across luxury, lease-up, value-add, and military housing communities. She has a strong track record of driving operational and financial performance across multi-site portfolios, including experience overseeing a nine property portfolio. Throughout her career, Meaghan has led diverse communities, implemented streamlined processes, and improved NOI while reducing turnover and vacancy through data driven operational strategies.
Meaghan holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), and a graduate of the National Apartment Association’s Diversity Leadership Program. 

Kerry is the Regional Property Manager for Affordable Housing in the Northeast. Kerry joined Makor in January 2019 as Community Director of an income and rent restricted affordable housing community in New Hampshire. Kerry was promoted into a senior role when Makor acquired two additional sister communities on the nearby Seacoast. Kerry possesses over 15 years of extensive experience managing affordable housing in New Hampshire as well as Massachusetts, a keen understanding of the complexity of low-income housing tax credit compliance, subsidized programs, and an ability to build and lead high-performing teams.  Kerry’s dedication to achieving outstanding results in management operation reviews as well as national standards for physical inspections of real estate have allowed her to assist Makor in expanding their footprint in the affordable housing sector. 

Tyler Reynnells serves as the Regional Property Manager at Makor, overseeing the Southeast Portfolio since January 2025. In this capacity, he is responsible for ensuring the effective operation and growth of properties across the region. Before joining Makor, Tyler made significant contributions at Atlanticville Management, starting in 2022 with River Creek in Augusta, GA as the Community Director. He quickly advanced to the role of Regional Assistant, where he supported the leadership team as the Southeast portfolio expanded.

Tyler’s career began in hospitality, where he spent five years managing daily hotel operations. This foundation sharpened his customer service and operational skills, which he later transitioned into residential property management. Throughout his career, Tyler has gained valuable experience working with reputable companies like Mid America Apartments and Woodward Management Partners. He has played an instrumental role in property acquisitions and managing multiple sites across various states, consistently enhancing occupancy rates and overall performance.

Tyler’s ability to manage complex properties and his dedication to operational excellence have made him a key asset to the Makor team.

With over 15 years of experience in property management, Alana brings a well-rounded and dynamic approach to her leadership role. Alana joined Makor in July 2025 serving as the Regional Property Manager for the Northeast Portfolio. She has a deep knowledge of the industry with a strong focus on resident satisfaction, and a proven track record of operational excellence. Throughout her career, Alana has managed diverse portfolios, led high-performing teams, and built strong relationships with residents, owners, and partners alike. Previously she was a District Manager for UDR, overseeing 2000 units in the Northshore area of Massachusetts. Prior to that she held several roles at Bozzuto Management Company where she managed several lease-ups, achieving 95% occupancy within 12 months of open. She also served on the company’s Learning & Leadership team where she trained new and current employees in all aspects of property management. Known for her hands-on leadership and collaborative spirit, Alana is passionate about creating thriving communities and supporting her teams in achieving both personal and professional growth. Her leadership style blends strategic thinking with day-to-day operational insight, helping drive both team growth and property performance.

Eleni Papakonstantinou is Makor's Controller, responsible for overseeing the accounting department, managing banking and audits, as well as administering our investor management systems.

Eleni started with Chartwell in June 2013 as a property accountant and was promoted to senior accountant in December 2015. In November 2020, Eleni was promoted to Accounting Manager, and most recently to Controller. She has served on the Chartwell Leadership Council and in 2016 was named Chartwell Ambassador. In 2020, she was the initial recipient of the Chartwell Legacy award. Eleni is a graduate of Boston University with a BS/BA in Business Administration.

Steve Donoghue joins Makor as an accomplished Director of Maintenance with over 15 years of experience overseeing property maintenance in the New England region. Since 2010, Steve has managed a 16-property, 2000-unit multi-family housing portfolio, supervising daily operations, rehabilitation projects, office/unit designs, capital improvements, and refinancing initiatives. Known for achieving scores of 90+ on over 60 HUD REAC and NSPIRE inspections across the U.S., Steve has also sourced grants and rebates for capital needs, implemented strict preventive maintenance schedules, and reduced portfolio budgets effectively. Steve played a key role in assisting to standardize national supply accounts, driving significant cost saving and reducing maintenance expenses.

With expertise in construction and project management, multi-family housing maintenance, HVAC systems, blueprint reading, and capital needs implementation, Steve holds an impressive array of certifications, including a Universal EPA 608 Certification, OSHA 30hr, NAHMA-NAHMS Certification, and an MA Unrestricted Construction Supervisors License. His career began as a Carpenter and Project Manager with the MA Carpenters Union Local 107 (2001-2010), followed by leadership roles at Housing Management Resources, Winn Residential, and Chartwell Holdings LLC.

Steve has earned numerous accolades, including the 2013 NAHMA Maintenance Professional of the Year as well as recognition for overseeing three NAHMA Properties of the Year. 

Karen Young is Makor’s Director Of Employee Relations. She is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing talent, managing employee relations programs, and ensuring alignment with our core values. This includes monitoring key employee metrics, conducting audits, and promoting best in class hiring practices. She is committed to maintaining compliance with employment laws, managing employee benefits, and ensuring fair and consistent performance management across the company. With a focus on continuous growth, Karen leads the development and implementation of our Employee Handbook, guides the performance review process, and coordinates employee recognition programs. She also collaborates on compensation strategies, salary analyses, and market trends to ensure that our employees are not only engaged but also valued.

Karen joined Chartwell Management in 2016 through the acquisition of The Fairways in Derry, NH, and has since grown with our company as senior manager to regional leadership as our portfolio has expanded. She has over two decades of experience in the multifamily industry and has consistently displayed the ability to build high performing teams and efficient processes. 

Jeff Sanidad is our Director Of IT and Enterprise Applications with deep expertise in optimizing business systems and driving operational efficiency within the multifamily real estate industry. He oversees the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms that support property management, accounting, and maintenance operations.

Jeff focuses on aligning technology with business objectives by streamlining workflows, enhancing system integrations, and improving data visibility across the organization. He is also actively engaged in leveraging advancements in artificial intelligence and strengthening cybersecurity practices to enhance system performance, protect sensitive data, and future-proof business operations.

With a strong background in systems administration and cross-functional collaboration, Jeff partners closely with operations, accounting, and leadership teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve performance and decision-making. He is known for his practical, results-driven approach and his ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technology strategies.
