Savannah Young

Savannah Young is Makor's Director of Compliance and is responsible for overseeing housing program compliance for our affordable portfolio to ensure continued adherence to state and federal regulations. Savannah joined Makor in December 2022 as an Administrator for an income- and rent-restricted affordable housing community. She was promoted to Compliance Specialist in April 2023 and again in November 2025 to Director of Compliance.

Prior to joining Makor, Savannah has worked as a social worker in the southern New Hampshire area. This experience helped her develop a deep understanding of the challenges many individuals and families face in securing stable, affordable housing, as well as an appreciation for the vital role affordable housing programs play in strengthening communities. With this background, Savannah remains committed to expanding housing opportunities and ensuring residents have access to safe, affordable homes.

Savannah holds several professional designations in the affordable housing industry, including Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P), and Assisted Multifamily Housing Manager (AHM).
