Steve Donoghue has joined Makor Management as our new Director of Maintenance, effective 03/31/25. With an impressive background in property maintenance and multi-family housing management, Steve brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our operations team. In his current role as Director of Maintenance, Steve will help to drive asset preservation and capital improvement projects as well as partner with our Regional Property Managers to ensure operational excellence. His leadership will be instrumental in standardizing best practices, developing detailed scopes of work and delivering exceptional service to our residents, owners, and team members. Steve has held Regional Maintenance Manager roles with Housing Management Resources and Winn Residential, managing large multi-family portfolios and spearheading significant rehabilitation and refinancing projects. His track record includes achieving scores of 90 and above on over 20 HUD REAC inspections and implementing cost-saving initiatives like national vendor accounts and cloud-based systems. Steve holds a Universal EPA 608 Certification, an OSHA 10-hour certification, and a Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisors License, among other credentials. His accomplishments include being named as a NAHMA Maintenance Professional of the Year and leading his properties to multiple NAHMA awards.
