Alana Ames

With over 15 years of experience in property management, Alana brings a well-rounded and dynamic approach to her leadership role. Alana joined Makor in July 2025 serving as the Regional Property Manager for the Northeast Portfolio. She has a deep knowledge of the industry with a strong focus on resident satisfaction, and a proven track record of operational excellence. Throughout her career, Alana has managed diverse portfolios, led high-performing teams, and built strong relationships with residents, owners, and partners alike. Previously she was a District Manager for UDR, overseeing 2000 units in the Northshore area of Massachusetts. Prior to that she held several roles at Bozzuto Management Company where she managed several lease-ups, achieving 95% occupancy within 12 months of open. She also served on the company’s Learning & Leadership team where she trained new and current employees in all aspects of property management. Known for her hands-on leadership and collaborative spirit, Alana is passionate about creating thriving communities and supporting her teams in achieving both personal and professional growth. Her leadership style blends strategic thinking with day-to-day operational insight, helping drive both team growth and property performance.
